You Are Born to Fulfill Your Calling
John 15:16 (NIV) says, "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last.."
What is your calling?
God chose you to fulfill your calling.
I bought into the belief that a career is like a buffet. I was wrong. The career I chose was a place of dread.
God gave me the idea to start an employment agency. I did not take action and continued in my career of choice.
My life went backward as the years in my career increased. I lived in a cycle of frustration with Monday morning blues while looking forward to Friday. I had no hope for my future.
I knew my life would continue backward if I didn't face the dread of my career.
Desire is the Starting Point for Moving Forward
What do you desire?
I had a desire to move forward. I sought God on how to move forward.
Psalm 37:4 (NIV) says, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
God gave me an idea to move forward.
The idea put me on the path to discovering my calling.
A calling is a desire of the heart.
Your calling may be in one or more of the following fields:

Art & Entertainment

A Calling Starts With An Idea
What ideas often come to your mind?
One is from God.
God called Moses to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt. He gave Moses the idea to go to Pharaoh to release the children of Israel from bondage.
Exodus 3:10 (NIV) says, "Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt.”
