What promises/God-given desires are you believing God for?

Spiritual rest is one way to receive what God promised you.

Believing God is spiritual rest.

Spiritual rest connects you to promises/God-given desires from God.

The children of Israel didn't enter spiritual rest because they didn't believe in God.

God promised the children of Israel a land with an abundance of resources. The children of Israel were to believe God for their promise while they were in the wilderness.

Moses sent 12 spies to confirm the abundance of resources in the land of Canaan, which God had promised to the children of Israel. Only 2 out of 12 spies acknowledged they could take possession of the land.

The ten spies saw themselves as not taking possession of the land God promised them.

They didn't believe God for the promises he had for them.

Their unbelief caused them not to rest in God.

Hebrews 3:19 (AMP) states, "So we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest—the promised land] because of unbelief and an unwillingness to trust in God."

Your belief in God and what He promised you is spiritual rest to receive His promises/God-given desires for you.

Be well,

Tulani
