The medical field has diagnoses for anyone who has physical heart symptoms from a stressful event.

The diagnosis is Broken heart syndrome or Takotsubo cardiomyopathy.

Broken heart syndrome occurs when the heart muscle weakens from emotional or physical stress from an event.

Jesus said that people's hearts will fail them for fear in Luke 21:26.

Luke 21:26 (KJV) states, "Men's hearts failing them for fear..."

The good news is there is a cure for a troubled heart.

Your belief in God and Jesus preserves your heart from stressful events.

Jesus said in John 14:1 (NASB), “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me."

What does it mean to believe in God and Jesus?

To believe is to expect, hope, or trust with confidence that God and Jesus will care for your soul. Also, trusting they will help you when you need them.

Your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. It interconnects with your heart, the core of your inner being.

Guarding your heart with your belief in God and Jesus protects you from stressful events.

Proverbs 4:23 (CSB) states, "Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.”

Your belief in God and Jesus allows Jesus to give you peace.

Jesus said in John 14:27 (NLT), “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid."

Peace will flow from your heart when you guard your heart with your belief in God and Jesus over any stress.

Be well,

Tulani
