Hi,

I hope all is well!

The Lord created you to do good works. You are His masterpiece.

Ephesians 2:10 (BSB) states, "For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life."

The following are some descriptions of good works:

  • Solve problems that improve society

  • Promote happiness

  • Oppose evil and misery

  • Promote well-being for others

  • Show God's love to people

  • Help diminish or remove pain people experience

The message of God in the Bible is to equip you to do good works.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV) "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

God’s message to you in the Bible does the following:

  • Breathes life into your spirit, soul (mind, will, and emotions), and body

  • Teach you

  • Corrects wrong thoughts and actions

  • Give you a standard to live by

  • Trains you on how to put into action God’s truth

  • Gives you the discipline to be consistent in your spiritual lifestyle

  • Conforms your heart to God’s truth

Resting in Jesus empowers you to do good works.

Valuing God's message to you is one way to rest your spirit, soul, and body in Jesus.

Be well,

Tulani
